Captain Reeves of the U.S. Army presented an award to Government Scientific Source on May 9th, 2018 for supporting the Society of American Federal Medical Laboratory Scientists (SAFMLS). The American flag in the frame was flown on a B52 in support of multiple missions, including Operation Inherent Resolve.
In 2018 GSS was awarded the NNSA’s Kansas City National Security Campus 16 Years of Service Small Business Award as a Supplier of nonnuclear components for nuclear weapons, including electronic, mechanical, and engineered material components. KCNSC is operated by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies and supports national laboratories, universities, and the U.S. industry.
Jacobs Clear Lake Group awarded GSS the Jacobs Clear Lake Group Small Business Award for on-time delivery with complete documentation to NASA. The company has a Prime Contract with NASA. GSS has supported Jacobs since 2012.
GSS is the 2013 recipient of the Platino Award for the highest achievement in Quality and Delivery. The award was issued in recognition of supplier performance in Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) programs for Purchased Product Value Stream (PPVS) and Center 2700 Neutron Generator Enterprise. SNL is part of DOE’s National Nuclear Safety Administration (NNSA) program requiring high standards for safety and delivery meeting national security missions.
GSS provided additional support to vital services such as public safety, library services, and parks to help improve the quality of life for the City of Livermore’s residents.
GSS received a Certificate of Appreciation from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (BNL) for providing quality service and participating in the 2010 Key Supplier Management Program.
